One of our existing clients brought his 2011 Hyundai Sonata to Cartronix for a remote car starter. We had previously installed starters on two other vehicles for this client. For the Hyundai Sonata, we used a Compustar CS800 system to provide easy-to-use reliable performance.
We start every installation by pulling the vehicle into our install bay and testing the condition of the battery with our Snap-On battery tester. The test confirms that the battery is in good condition and will start the vehicle reliably, as long as it is maintained.
With the battery condition confirmed, we set to work with the installation process. We placed our steering wheel and seat protectors in the vehicle, then started making our electrical connections. We prepare the remote starter module beforehand to make the installation fast. We solder and tape each connection. We secure all the harnessing with Tesa tape to keep it reliable and free from buzzes and rattles.
Once done, we showed the customer how to use the system. He was happy with the results.
